The following is a list of places you can go to purchase a fresh-cut Christmas tree around the region.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
🎄 A. BROWN & SONS FRESH CUT CHRISTMAS TREES

Types of trees, costs: Pre-cut Ohio-grown trees cut daily, 3 to 14 feet, all varieties. Plenty of 10- to 12-foot firs available. Canaan Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Norway Spruce, Scotch Pine, White Pine, Austrian Pine and Blue Spruce also available.
Extras: Cut your own White pine and fir and some spruce. Fresh wreaths, branches and roping.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily beginning Nov. 29 through Christmas Eve. Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Cut your own until 5 p.m. daily.
Directions: Take I-70 west to Exit 26, turn left on Hoke Road, right on Salem Avenue; tree lot is four houses down on the right or take I-70 east to Exit 26 and the tree lot is on the left as you get off the exit.

🎄 ADVENT CHRISTMAS TREE FARM, LLC

Types of trees, costs: Canaan fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, Serbian Spruce, White Pine, Scotch Pine, Concolor Fir, Korean Fir and White Spruce. Trees with no tags are $55; trees with orange tags are $69; trees with blue tags are $89;trees with red tags are $109; and the trees with yellow tags (also known as their "Charlie Brown trees") are $22.
Extras: Handmade wreaths, small gift shop with a wide variety of high quality ornaments and other shopping ideas. Free hot chocolate and popcorn. Free tree shaking, baling and drilling. Food truck on site.
Hours: This year, Christmas trees will be available by appointment only. They will have 400 appointments available on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; 300 appointments on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and 200 appointments on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Call 937-479-2783.

🎄RED BARN TREE FARM

Types of trees, costs: 4- to 9-foot-tall Scotch Pine, Norway Spruce, Canaan Fir and Eastern White Pine. Cut any tree for $32 (this option will be limited, so be sure to sure grab yours before they sell out). Tree netting is $3. Pre-cut 6- to 8-foot firs for $55. Tree care kits are $3, while tree stands are $16.
Extras: Free candy canes and hot chocolate.
Hours: 10 a.m. til dark, Saturday and Sunday. Open Nov. 29 and until trees are gone. Limited quantities.
Directions: From I-75 Dayton Mall area take State Route 725 west through Miamisburg, at the light just across the river turn right on to Soldier Home MSBG Road. The farm is one mile north on the right-hand side of the road at the intersection of Soldiers Home and Manning Roads.
🎄DEALKER’S FARM

Types of trees, costs: Limited amount of trees, "nice selection," Ohio-grown. Cut-your-own trees are $40, pre-cut trees are priced as marked
Extras: Saws and carts available. Shaking is free and baling is $3. They have a small gift shop with various Christmas items.
Hours: Open from Friday, Nov. 29 until they sell out. Fridays and Saturdays 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday from noon-5:30 p.m.
GREENE COUNTY
🎄 COUNTRY CHARM TREE FARM

Types of trees, costs: Pre-cut Balsam and Fraser Fir are $7-$9 a foot, depending on size. Prices from $25 to $125 for large selection of tall pre-cut trees, up to 13 feet. Also, the Fraser Fir table top with stand for $15. Balled and burlapped trees also available.
Extras: Shaking and baling services available. Free hot chocolate and cookies. Handmade wreaths and grave blankets.
Hours: Noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday starting Nov. 29.
Directions: Take U.S. 35 East around Xenia to U.S. 68, north on U.S. 68 toward Xenia to Union Road, follow signs for farm; or take I-71 north to Ohio 42 to U.S. 35 East to U.S. 68, follow signs to farm.
🎄 CARL AND DOROTHY YOUNG’S CHRISTMAS TREES

Types of trees, costs: Cut your own Scotch Pine, White Pine, Norway Spruce, Canaan Fir, Blue Spruce and Concolor Fir. All pines start at $54. Spruce trees start at $59. Fir trees start at $71.
Extras: Will shake, wrap and load every tree. Wreaths, stands and decorations to complete your Christmas tree shopping. Wreaths start at $21.95. Saws available. Gift shop available. Free hot chocolate and popcorn available.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The farm is open for business beginning on Nov. 29 and running until all trees are sold.
Directions: Take U.S. 68 to one mile north of Yellow Springs. Located just south of the big red barn, look for the little red tree barn next to Route 68.
🎄 SPRING VALLEY TREE FARM, LLC

Types of trees, costs: Variety of spruces and firs for cutting at $8.50 per foot up to 7 feet. $9 per foot up to 8 and 9 feet and $10.50 per foot for 10 feet and above. A variety of living trees (balled and burlapped) $25 per foot. Tall firs: 9-14 feet.
Extras: Saws and tree cleaning (for $1) are provided; bailing is $1 and bags are $1.50 each. Free cookies and cider. Wreaths available. Decorated wreaths for $25, undecorated for $20.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, Friday through Sunday, and 1-5 p.m. on Monday. The tree farm opens on Nov. 29 and closes for the season on Dec. 16.
Directions: East on U.S. 35. Proceed south on U.S. 42 and watch for signs as U.S. 42 narrows, just after you cross the Little Miami River.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday starting Nov. 29.
Directions: From I-71, take Ohio 48 north to Ohio 123. Turn right on Ohio 123, then immediately turn right on Stubbs Mill Road. From I-75, take Ohio 63 east through Lebanon. This becomes Ohio 123. Turn right on Stubbs Mill Road. Farm is 1.1 miles on left.
🎄 WERTZ FAMILY TREE FARM

Types of trees, costs: Cut your own Canaan Fir, Blue Spruce and Scotch Pine, $7.50 per foot. Pre-cut Fraser and Concolor Firs for $8.50/foot under 10 feet. For trees over 10 feet tall, the price is $10 per foot.
Extras: Wreaths available at 20 percent off with the purchase of a tree. Tree stands, waterers and other accessories are available. They shake, bail, and help tie the tree to your car.
Hours: 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, noon-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday until sold out. Noon-7 p.m. on Black Friday.
Directions: 2 miles north of Atrium Medical Center.
