In addition to The Pine Club — where the Anheuser-Busch promotional team will re-create a photo taken 70 years ago in the same spot — the Clydesdales team will visit Buffalo Wild Wings, Milano's Pizza & Subs, Timothy's and a Sunoco convenience store and gas station, all located in a two-block stretch in the 1800-1900 blocks of Brown Street.

Vail Miller Jr., CEO of Heidelberg Distributing Co., will be riding the hitch and delivering a case of Budweiser to each account, Laura Elking, Anheuser-Busch marketing and media manager at Heidelberg, told this news outlet today, March 23. The best place for members of the public to see and photograph the Budweiser Clydesdales team will be at the Sunoco gas station and convenience store at 1927 Brown St. between approximately 2:20 p.m. and 3 p.m., Elking said. Delivery will then be made to the four other restaurant/pub accounts before the team will return to its staging area in a parking lot near the Marriott University of Dayton hotel on South Patterson Boulevard.

The Budweiser Clydesdales’ “Hitch Schedule” calls for the horse team to come to Cincinnati on Tuesday, March 27, in conjunction with the opening of the Major League baseball season. It will be in southwest Ohio through April 3. The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first appearance on April 7, 1933. They were a gift from August A. Busch, Jr. and Adolphus Busch to their father in celebration of the repeal of Prohibition.
