Are you an artist? Then don’t miss these 2 great opportunities from DVAC

In Dayton, we’re lucky to have a thriving arts community with great supporting organizations like the Dayton Visual Arts Center.

Recently, DVAC just rolled out two new opportunities for local artists. Details are below.

1.) Urban Art Intersections: Mural for Transportation Garage / Levitt Pavilion

Artists of all levels are invited to submit design proposals for a mural located near the future home of the Levitt Pavilion, Dayton’s free outdoor amphitheater planned to open at Dave Hall Plaza in 2018.

The mural should reflect the spirit or music, musicians, and musical performance. The inclusion of Dayton’s rich musical past, present, and future, as well as any other interpretation of how music plays a role in our city’s rich cultural fabric is highly encouraged.

To apply: Click here for application or come by the gallery at 118 N. Jefferson St., Dayton. Application deadline is Oct. 9, 2017.
