There’s something extra special about drinking a cold one right in the very space it was brewed. This is especially on a day as festive as St. Patrick’s Day.

The Dayton-area is having a number of special brewery events this weekend to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

☘️Eudora's St. Patrick's Day Celebration

It's the first St. Patrick's Day celebration at Eudora's shiny new location on Wilmington Pike, but it is keeping tradition: an Irish sing-a-long with Jamieson & The Flailers! Music starts at 7 p.m. inside the taproom. At 4 p.m. then at 5:30 p.m., there will be Irish dance performances by Dwyer School of Irish Dance.

“We will be tapping our brew-your-own series Irish Red Ale for the afternoon. The kitchen will be serving up a TBA Irish dinner special in addition to our regular menu. Taproom hours have been extended to 10 p.m. and the kitchen will stay open until 8 p.m. The brewery will open at noon.

☘️St. Patrick's at the Brewpub

Fifth Street Brewpub said it's kicking it back and celebrating the casual way this year. Two days of festivities will involve a menu of Irish-inspired food and of course, Fifth Street's favorite beers on tap. There will be live music by Blackthorn and Laurel, the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra and dancing by the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance.

“Sunday we will open for brunch as usual at 10 a.m. and stay open until 11 p.m. (kitchen closes at 10 p.m.) So whether you are looking to fuel up before the big party down the street, hang out for the day, or wind down at the end of the night, we've got you covered. After all, the building is green so this is a guaranteed pinch-free zone,” according to the Fifth Street event page.

☘️Get a Handle On St. Patrick's Day At Crooked Handle Brewing Co.

St. Patty's Day is just around the corner, and CHBC has been working hard to make 2019 a memorable one. There will be green beer, Irish Red Ale flowing from the taps, green jello shots and specials on Jameson and Tully. Limited edition green CHBC T-shirts will be available and the night will be capped off with live music from Velvet Crush Unplugged starting at 7 p.m. Dorothy Lane Market corned beef and cabbage will be available from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. for a suggested $10 donation to ALS.

☘️Star City Party

This year, Star City Brewing Co. is hosting its 2nd Annual Miamisburg’s Saint Patrick’s Day Party featuring beer, food, games and music all day long. Entry is free to the first 100 people, then only $5 at the door. “We had a blast hosting everyone at the brewery last year and are excited to bring it back again,” said Justin Kohnen, owner of Star City Brewing Company. “Being a Sunday, we won’t start as early as 6 a.m. this year, but we’ve still got a whole day of music and fun planned.”

Starting the party at 11 a.m., Son of a Biscuit — dubbed Son o’ a Biscuit for that day — will be set up and music starts at 11:30 a.m. with Harold Hensley, 1:30 p.m. with David Payne, 3:30 p.m. with Charlie and Amanda Jackson, 5:30 p.m. with the Paddywhackers and 7:30 p.m. with California Howdy.

This free St. Pat’s celebration will be pulling out all the stops to make it feel like you’re celebrating in Dublin, Ireland. Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co. will have bagpipe players, traditional Irish dancers, Celtic music and of course, “ our Kill Kenny Irish Red!”
