Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' remix with Billy Ray Cyrus featured in new 'Rambo' trailer

Lil Nas X's hit song, "Old Town Road," appears to keep going down a never-ending road.

The single, which first gained national attention when it was removed from the Billboard country charts, has hit No. 1 and is now backing the action-packed "Rambo: Last Blood" trailer.

The teaser trailer, released Thursday, is for the fifth installment of Sylvester Stallone's legendary "Rambo" series. The country remix with Billy Ray Cyrus is featured.

The includes Cyrus’ vocals singing, “Yeah, I’m going to take my horse down to Old Town Road/I’m going to ride until I can’t no more,” and John J. Rambo, played by Stallone, grooming himself and sharpening a knife.

"All these years, I've kept my secrets, but the time has come to face my past," Rambo says in the 1:40 trailer. "And if it comes looking for me, they will welcome death. I want them to know that death is coming and there is nothing they can do to stop it."

The film’s plot follows Rambo as he travels to Mexico to save a friend’s daughter who has been kidnapped by the Mexican cartel. This will reportedly be Stallone’s last portrayal of the character.

“Rambo: Last Blood” hits theaters Sept. 20. Watch the trailer below.
