New restaurant to open next week in Sugarcreek Twp.

The restaurant named Gyro Delight that we first told you about in June is scheduled to open to the public Monday in the Sugarcreek Plaza, and will conduct open interviews for job applicants from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 20, a Gyro Delight co-founder said today.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant is located at 6008 Wilmington Pike near the I-675 and Wilmington Pike interchange, in space that previously housed a Noble Roman’s Pizza shop. It will seat about 95 and will employ 16 to 20.

Gyro Delight’s menu includes, of course, gyros, along with beef and chicken shish kebabs, chicken shawarma, falafel, moussaka and Angus burgers and hot dogs served Greek-style.
