Hot dad wins firefighting competition with adorable boogieing tot

There were firefighters with bigger guns and axes, but Sidney firefighter Dallas Davis proved to be the hunkiest of all at the second annual The Hunks and Ladders Firefighter Combat Challenge at Austin Landing by using a weapon no one saw coming: his a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e daughter.

Seriously, the kid is cute.

With the help of his daughter and sons, our hot dad (see what I did there) captured the judges' hearts.

Full disclosure: I was a judge.

The competition helped determine the 12 firefighters who will be featured in the 2017 Hunks and Ladders calendar.

Davis gave a shout-out to his father, a retired lieutenant from the Dayton Fire Department, who took part in the 1982 Hunks and Ladders calendar.

Davis walked off into the sunset with championship belts for himself and his department.

Event organizer Jake Preston, an emergency recovery coordinator at Paul Davis (a recovery, reconstruction and restoration company), said photo sessions for the 2017 Hunks and Ladders calendar begin this week.

The $20 calendar will go on sale in late July or early August on the Hunks and Ladders' website.

Proceeds will benefit A Special Wish Foundation Inc, Miami Valley Firefighter/EMS Memorial Association, and Pink Ribbon Driven.
