PizzaFire Kettering offers free pizza customer appreciation day

The Dayton area's only PIZZAFIRE restaurant will offer free pies as part of "Customer Appreciation Free Pizza Day" this Friday, Oct. 20.

Those who follow PIZZAFIRE on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram can obtain a free pizza with up to 3 toppings between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Friday, according to a spokeswoman for the fast-bake pizza chain. The restaurant is located at 4325 Far Hills Ave. (Ohio 48) in Kettering.

The Kettering PIZZAFIRE opened on Aug. 30, 2016.

Cleveland-based PizzaFire has a fast-serve, built-to-order service line similar to Chipotle and Subway, offering diners the choice of 40 toppings, six sauces, and five cheeses on a pie that is placed into an 800-degree and cooked in three minutes.

The concept is similar to Kettering-based Rapid Fired Pizza — which launched in late 2015 and now has multiple locations throughout the Dayton area — and Seattle-based MOD Pizza, which has opened its first two Dayton-area locations in Englewood and Centerville.
