Gold Star Chili to give away FREE cheese coneys

Gold Star Chili will give away free cheese coneys for National Chili Dog Day on Thursday.

The Cincinnati-based chili chain is offering a free cheese coney with the purchase of any regular sized drink. The offer is available at every Gold Star restaurant in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, Somerset and Ashland.

"What better way to honor the Chili Dog, than with a chililicious Cheese Coney," said Mickey Kamfjord, Gold Star Chili's Director of Marketing. "We want everyone to join the celebration. That's why we have this very special offer. Buy a regular drink and enjoy a Cheese Coney on us."

The Gold Star Chilimobile will also be at Paul Brown Stadium on Thursday from 12pm to 1pm. Bengals fans can come to enjoy a free Cheese Coney while also supporting the Bengals as they ramp up to their 50th anniversary season.
